A walk of a couple hours in San Clemente Canyon on a very hot July 1st day. All shot using the tamron 70-300 and k10d.

LaRee > Later in the day when I was home I heard this guy in my plum tree.  He may be a Nuttall, but probably the more common Ladder-backed Woodpecker
