A wonderful trip to Catalina Island with my two best photography buds. I had the time of my life! What a blast!

LaRee > View back to Dana Point on a very bumpy ride to Catalina Island. Doesn't look bumpy does it? A small craft advisory was in affect. I had a heck of a time keeping my butt on my seat and could barely hold the viewfinder to my eye.
LaRee > Heading in to Catalina, you can just see the island. Still mighty bumpy and a challenge to hold the camera. Funny how the water doesn't look bumpy.
LaRee > The woman on the left is celebrating her wedding anniversary on Catalina Island. She was covered in goosebumps and freezing after 20 minutes on the ride over. The woman on the right is enjoying the brief sun on her face. It only poked through a couple brief moments.
LaRee > This is the partner of the woman on the right in the previous photo. He was doing his best to get that beer in his mouth. It wasn't easy with the rocky ride!
LaRee > Almost there, I can barely see the dock.
LaRee > A far away shot of Steve ready to shoot. 300mm and cropped to boot. Should have lugged the Bigma! But I am saving myself for the next day and the day after. This is still Friday when I arrived.
